Sourav Ganguly, who is fondly called ‘Dada’, may have quit international cricket years ago but the former Indian Team Captain still drawn to the cricket bat, whenever he gets the chance. But this time it wasnt the Eden Garden but on the street of Kolkata.
A recent video has emerged on the internet where Sourav Ganguly, was captured on camera playing gully cricket with a few kids in between the narrow streets of Kolkata.
A few kids in a gully in Kolkata had their moment to savour when a special man joined them for a game of cricket. Sourav Ganguly came out in the open on Sunday to play a game of gully cricket with a few kids on the streets of Kolkata.
The pitch was replaced by tarmac, the galleries were replaced by old and dilapidated houses, and the professional broadcast-cameras were replaced by amateur mobile-videographers. However, the support for the Prince of Calcutta still remained the same, as people cheered on, while Ganguly played some of his trademark shots.
